Was listening to FM93.3 late afternoon show hosted by 纬冰 and 灵芝 and they were discussing about this scandal involving 小猪 and Jolin. It was reported that after the ‘周侯恋’ thing broke out, Jolin was very upset and 小猪 went to comfort her at her place in the middle of the night for 4 hours. They were discussing if it is possible that Jolin would then fall for 小猪 coz she would realise that THE one was actually near her all the time but she overlooked blah blah things like that. Then the DJs got listeners to call in and share their experiences, and there were more than just a few cases where the 'comforter' got together with the 'comforted'.

said... Yes. It is often the case that the conforter gets together with the conforted. In my opinion, it is not a wise choice. It might be just a 'comfort' issue, the idea of being there for u at the right time, especially for the comforted party. For the comforter, he must make sure his feelings are not out of pity, and for the one being comforted, she needs to realise that she will have to get over this faster, return to a clearer state of mind before she can think properly of what her heart says. :)
