25 minutes
25 Minutes by: Micheal Learns to RockAfter some time I’ve finally made up my mind
She is the girl and I really want to make her mine
I’m searching everywhere to find her again
To tell her I love her
And I’m sorry ’bout the things I’ve done
I find her standing in front of the church
The only place in town where I didn’t search
She looks so happy in her wedding dress
But she’s crying while she’s saying this
Chorus:
Boy I missed your kisses all the time but this is
Twenty five minutes too late
Though you travelled so far boy I’m sorry you are
Twenty five minutes too late
Against the wind I’m going home again
Wishing be back to the time when we were more than friends
Still I see her in front of the church
The only place in town where I didn’t search
She looks so happy in her wedding dress
But she’s cried while she’s saying this
Out in the streets
Places where hungry hearts have nothing to eat
Inside my head
Still I can hear the words she said

Anyway, heard '25 Minutes' again on Ed's car last weekend. Ooooh such great memories of this song. But ... this song is classified as retro already. Class 95 has already considered the 90s as retro. Only not so ago, the 70s and 80s was called retro. Now the songs that I used to grow up listening and hmm-ing to, is considered 'old' liaoz ... shucks ... growing old (and looking it) liaoz.
sigh ... I have been called 'uncle', 'boss' many times liaoz ... I am always approached for the bill when eating out with friends. I was also thought to be in year 3 or year 4 when I am only year 2 now.
When I was with Ed last weekend, he was meeting and telling someone on the phone that he saw 'the laojiao/laolang' arrive already. Having not seen 'the laojiao/laolang' before, that person alighted from his car on arrival, approached and said, 'Oh so this is the laojiao you are talking about ah?'.
