Saw an article on buskers in Singapore in the Sunday Times. Quite a big write up on them, on how it ended up with the physically disabled being the mainstay of those busking.
Looks like I have found myself an alternative besides being a rat =P
My progress on the guitar have stagnated, again. Getting a breakthrough is not easy and maintaining form requires lots of dedication. Unfortunately, the little tricks I discovered have already turned stale and I am still unable to replicate the subtleties in nice songs that made them touching. I want to learn ‘她来听我的演唱会’ by 张学友 and all it's bits of magic. I also want to learn ‘那就这样吧’ by 动力火车，‘最爱的人不是你’ by 郑中基, ‘爱我别走’ by 张震岳 and even ‘关怀方式’ in their most splendid form. I think ... mastering the magic in these songs will mean I would be concert accompaniment standard. At least, I might be able to earn more from busking with better skills. Hmm ... maybe I will ply my trade at the City Link Mall ... or at the Esplanade tunnel ... no people busking there the last time I went there.
Although not exactly 我的演唱会, I thought of the 木船performance with Xing N Strum. 她、她们、他们来听演唱会。
