Everytime I passby CBD on my way to the indoor stadium, I wonder if one day I would be one of the rats in there. Used to think that working in Shenton Way is really cool, decking out in shirt and tie, lunching in restaurants and chilling out at Boat Quay after work, plus all the OL babes ...
But well ... I don't think so anymore .. and I'm pretty sick of studying.
What sort of lifestyle and 'career', will I get to do the following?
- - Free time to play sports actively
- Quantity and quality time with family
- Plenty of job satisfaction and be very good in my line
- Enough time and money to travel
- Buy the best seats to a concert
- Maybe afford a small car to scoot around the city
- Do a bit of volunteer work
Below are some of the 'careers' worthed considering:
- - Open a ice cream and coffee bar
- Open a travellers' hostel/guesthouse
- Busking
- Contract work
- Photojournalist
- Be a full time parttimer
- Sell breakfast at a breakfast kiosk
Alexxis had a killer idea with "travel writer", and I love it TOTALLY. I wonder if I really can make a living out of it, right here in Singapore anyway.

booboogal said... u have to start somewhere.. but dun see it as ur rice bowl yet hor.. do it on the side, finance this hobby/sideline with a real job, I'm sure it will pay off in the end
i read b4 that sometimes u have to take the risk and publish ur own book and sell it b4 major publishers are willing to sign u up becos they wan to sign up pple who can make money.
