夜的诗人：“Today afternoon's rain can be described as torrential.
Looking out at the rain through TR2's big glass window with its big red curtain drawn apart, I pitied the construction workers opposite from where I am. They have to brave the elements of nature, the strenous and dangerous nature of work, to earn their dues that's barely enough. They then furthur save and scrimp over here, so that they can send the bulk of it home, to create a better future for their families. I feel sooo lucky to be under the protection of the glass windows, away from the lashing of the weather.
Today is the first time in my life that I have ever seen the full span of rainbow within one eye shot. What a feeling it was, to see Mother Nature showing that she also has a gentle side after the punishing rain. From the same window, I managed to catch the full arch of rainbow, from end to end, in it's maximum splendor. If the saying is true, I could find a pot of gold at the Nanyang Playhouse.
The only other time I was so excited about rainbows was when Hawx texted me while I happened to be on my way out of Tekong after one week of crap. He told me to look up into the sky for a ring rainbow. A ring rainbow is a rainbow that forms a full circle, just like a ring of many colors in the sky. Oh my goodness ... it was really beautiful and it certainly made my day. If he hadn't texted me about it, I would have missed one of the many nature's miracles which occurred just right above me.
Will look forward to the next downpour, just for the rainbows that might form after it.”
